ARAG is hiring a Marketing Consultant! You’ll partner with teammates, stakeholders and outside vendors to plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns across direct mail, digital content, email, presentations, collateral, and more—keeping work organized, on track, and aligned to grow awareness and acquisition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plans, executes and analyzes campaigns that reach target audiences through available channels.
  • Creates marketing materials including, but not limited to advertising, collateral materials, digital marketing, direct mail, web copy, email communications, presentations, promotional items, sales tools, social media, special events, collateral materials, social media and web/interactive tools.
  • Collaborates with internal marketing team (content, graphic design, digital marketing and social media, etc.) to create amazing marketing tactics.
  • Partners with internal resources such as UX, Customer Experience, BI and Customer Insights to actively retrieve and review metrics, data and reporting to proactively refine programs and share with stakeholders.
  • Prepares and manages project timelines and budgets, ensuring integration of projects with marketing activities for other channels as appropriate.
  • Manages the setup and campaign tracking in Salesforce to connect with organizational tools (Pardot, social media, etc.) to track, evaluate and adjust as needed.
  • Maintains healthy relationships with all functions and levels in the organization. Encourages team unity and synergy.
  • Develops new and analyzes existing SOPs and processes to help marketing department run more effectively and efficiently.
  • Embraces and positively contributes to change. Ability to think beyond “what is” and ask, “what could be?” Proactively experiments with new pilot test and learning opportunities. Proposes novel ideas within marketing team and with stakeholders.
  • Serves as a positive role model by representing ARAG at its Best.

Qualifications

Knowledge

  • Working knowledge of B2C and B2B marketing is required.
  • Working knowledge of insurance and/or employee benefits is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of marketing strategies and tactics including traditional, social, and digital.
  • Working knowledge of content marketing and messaging
  • Base understanding of the creative, print production and digital media production process is required.

Skills

  • Results oriented with the ability to function in a fast-paced environment, flexible with changing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with demonstrated ability to effectively self-manage workload across multiple project teams, prioritizing based on highest impact work. Ability to take initiative to accomplish tasks with little direct supervision.
  • Ability to establish rapport, credibility, and positive working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders within area of focus.
  • Ability to gather and analyze data, identify and interpret trends, create solutions to solve complex challenges and make data driven decisions.
  • Stays abreast of industry trends, competitors, and overall marketing (both traditional and digital) best practices.
  • Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and InDesign.
  • Must be able to work effectively and comfortably in team settings and one-on-one situations.
  • Experience and/or understanding of Marketing Automation (Salesforce, Pardot, HubSpot, Marketo, ExactTarget) to generate and nurture leads a plus.
  • Actively seeks opportunities to learn new knowledge, and skills.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, public relations, communications (or other related degree) from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience

Experience

  • 3+ years experience in the field of marketing or direct marketing. Experience working directly with clients in a marketing or advertising agency setting a plus.

  • None required.
