ARAG is hiring a file integration analyst! This person will work closely with the client support services technical team by researching, analyzing and processing all client enrollment. They serve as the primary point of contact for ARAG’s partners and clients during file transactions. The ability to prioritize multiple projects and communicate clearly in a fast-paced environment is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Consults with clients concerning Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) guidelines and capabilities.
  • Collaborates with appropriate departments to provide the technical support and troubleshooting of ARAG’s file processing during implementation to accurately capture enrollment, eligibility, and reconciliation files.
  • Follows file processing requirements and implements the exchange of file data supporting benefit platform solutions.
  • Communicates with business partners on testing and post-implementation issues to ensure successful migration of data.
  • Performs data validation and identifies areas for improvement and the implementation of solutions with the help of the Senior EDI Analyst and the Technical Manager, Client Support Services.
  •  Works closely with the Technical Team, Client Support Services, Project Office, IT Operations, and other areas of the business to rectify file processing errors.
  • Participates in client implementation meetings to gain an understanding of the client relationship including the coordination of file specifications, SFTP set-up, and electronic transfer procedures with the client’s file processing contact.
  • Utilizes Salesforce to track file changes, implementations and decisions made to ensure successful completion of the file into production.
  • Participates in corporate or departmental projects relating to or that impact the file process. This includes working closely with the EDI Analysts and Technical Manager, Client Support Services, to define business requirements and specifications to develop project, testing and implementation plans.
  • Prepares and analyzes member reports to identify potential issues and proposes solutions to streamline the file process.
  • Responsible for monitoring enrollment and eligibility files’ dashboard. Resolves data errors, warnings, and trackers for resolution on file dashboard.
  • Works with clients on Open Enrollment questionnaires.
  • Establishes relationships with Enrollment Technology providers, clients, etc. during the implementation process via conference calls, Microsoft Teams meetings and email communications to ensure timely onboarding of clients.
  • Serves as a positive role model by representing the ARAG at its Best.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of file mapping with an ability to learn inbound file data mapping.
  • Proven ability to develop and nurture positive and professional working relationships with clients and partners.
  • Familiarity with reporting systems including running reports, exporting data, and manipulating data in Excel.
  • General understanding of standard file processes for Benefit Enrollment and Ongoing File Maintenance.
  • Basic knowledge of Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of employee benefits/insurance.
  • Demonstrated understanding of SFTP setup and documentation of processes.

Education – Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.

 

Experience – 3+ years related experience, insurance industry experience a plus.

 

Certifications, Licenses, Associations, etc.  – None required.
