Purpose

ARAG is hiring a product analyst! This person will collaborate with the product manager to identify and manage the deployment, enhancement and maintenance of ARAG products. The ability to understand complex business issues and synthesize data from multiple sources is required. Strong interpersonal, communications and presentation skills are also required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with the Product leadership on the development of the overall product strategy.
  • Develops product implementation strategy; leads deployment activities including product training, communication, and change management; works collaboratively with appropriate stakeholders to execute implementation strategy.
  • Assists with development and maintenance of product parameters across internal systems.
  • Monitors product performance, including ongoing analysis to provide recommendations for changes and/or enhancements to existing product offerings.
  • Assists with day-to-day partner/vendor relationships to ensure successful product launches and ongoing customer interactions, including monitoring performance, usage, and reporting.
  • Conducts ongoing analysis of market and competitor intelligence; interpret results and provide recommendations for action; track all products offered including analysis and market impact; synthesize and report companywide.
  • Assists Sales and Client Management with product design recommendations, review and completion of legal plan comparison grids and in-depth product analysis/training.
  • Serves as a positive role model by representing ARAG at its Best.
  • Other duties as assigned.                  

Qualifications

Knowledge

  • Working knowledge of research methodologies including quantitative and qualitative research.
  • Working knowledge and experience in Insurance and/or Financial Services.
  • General knowledge of insurance versus service to appropriately apply this knowledge to the development of competitive product offerings.
  • Broad understanding of sales/marketing process as it relates to product implementation.

  • Ability to understand complex business issues from multiple functional areas and synthesize data and information from multiple sources to address them.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Exceptional detail, organizational and project management skills including an ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of people.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint; advanced skills in MS Excel.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in business, statistics, data analytics, finance, economics, or directly related fields from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience.

Experience

  • 2+ years of related business experience. Experience in research and the competitive intelligence aspect of product development a plus. Product management and/or qualitative/quantitative analysis experience preferred.
